The term stomach ache is often used to express pain or cramps in the abdomen, which often lasts for short periods and does not pose a threat to the patient's life, and this occurs due to many reasons, including:


Peptic ulcers:

This means damage to the lining of the stomach or small intestine. As a result of using some drugs, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or as a result of a bacterial infection, in addition to stomach pain, the patient may face some other symptoms, such as: nausea, vomiting, feeling full stomach when eating little food, and some signs that indicate the occurrence Bleeding, such as: shortness of breath, paleness or fatigue.



 Gastritis:

 It is the inflammation of the stomach lining due to a bacterial infection, or immune system problems, and the inflammation may be acute and last for a short time, or it may be chronic. Esophagitis:

Pregnancy:

 Since it is very common for pregnant women to suffer from stomach pain; This is a result of hormonal changes in pregnancy, and it can also happen due to acid reflux and pressure resulting from the expansion of the uterus.

It usually affects the elderly, and it occurs when part of the stomach pushes up the chest through the diaphragm.
